The position:
AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Investments Project Manager-Analyst to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The salary range of this position is $75,000.00 to $105,000.00, and is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for hybrid work.

A typical day as a may include:

  • Oversees the development, maintenance and modification of CTIEP projects
  • Coordinates with project technical directors and tracks the execution of CTEIP projects through all project stages
  • Reviews and approves high-level work plans through coordination with the project team
  • Identifies risks/issues
  • Provides guidance/direction on project plans and deliverables, to include monthly and quarterly reporting 

Must-haves:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Journeyman level:
  • Experience with program/project management assisting federal clients in delivering key programs
  • Ability to present project management and data analysis
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
  • Experience providing program status and briefings to project leadership

Senior level:
  • Experience building/maintaining budgets, tracking financial execution, building/managing schedules, coordinating resources and supporting the development of technical/programmatic documentation
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, performance, risk and other programmatic aspects of DoD projects to satisfy requirements/meet the expectations of project sponsors
  • Ability to assess program risk/opportunities to reduce cost, schedule growth pressures and realize efficiencies as early as possible

Desired Skills:
  • Experience drafting statements of work, reviewing and evaluating industry proposals
  • Experience developing detailed plans/tracking execution
  • Experience tracking cost/schedule/performance metrics as well as tracking progress toward achieving agreed project objectives

Physical environment and working conditions:
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.

The physical environment requires the employee to stand, walk and/or move throughout the workday, often bending over and picking up items less than 50 lbs.
