The Position:
AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Procurement Associate-Journeyman to support Electromagnetic Environmental Effects. This position is eligible for remote work; as needed.

A typical day as a Procurement Associate-Journeyman may include:
- Communicates with management and vendors regarding order status and purchasing packages
- Accepts and receives packages delivered in CostPoint
- Writes purchase orders
- Prepares high dollar purchasing packages
- Tracks available funding for contract
- Answers phones
- Other duties as required
Must-haves:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Costpoint/Deltek
- Experience in shipping and receiving
- Experience with Excel/MS Office
- Experience in purchasing
- Strong analytical Skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in order tracking
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience in accounting

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:
The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.
