AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking Senior level Full Stack Software Developers to provide support to the architecture, design and development of web and mobile applications in support of NAVAIR 4.0P. This is a lead position that will support the Air Worthiness and Cyberafe Directorate’s Electronic Flight Clearances (eFC), involving management of a CMMI Level 3 appraised team. The Software Developers will be a part of a small, Agile development team who will provide support from Patuxent River, MD.
A typical day as the Software Developers:
- Implement web-based applications based on product owner requirements
- Create a dynamic browser interface using the Angular framework
- Develop RESTful server applications using UWSO2 technologies
- Daily management of a CMMI Level 3 appraised Agile team.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant, full stack software engineering experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ programming experience with Java and C#, with an emphasis on object-oriented software development is required
- Ability to rapidly implement web-based applications from wireframe mockups and design prototypes
- Demonstrated understanding of HTTP, SOAP, and RESTful web services
- Full stack web application experience (database, SOA messaging, CSS/JavaScript)
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required.
Desired Experience:
- RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, H2, MySQL, and SQL Server
- Alfresco One or other similar CMS solutions
- WSO2 or other SOA solutions
- Building business workflows using BPM tools such as Activiti
- UI front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- DITA XML, XSLT, DTDs, schemas, and related technologies
- Cyber security practices for web application development
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required from an ABET accredited institution OR 8 years of relevant experience.
