AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Information Assurance Analyst to provide future support to a major Test Facility on the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Maryland.

A typical day as the Information Assurance Analyst:

• Reviewing and preparing IA certification documentation
• Review ACAS and SCAP vulnerability data and develop POA&M.
• Develop RMF accreditation package artifacts and data entry in eMASS.
• Coordinate with System Administrators to ensure computer systems meet compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to integrate DoD IA requirements into their projects in a cost effective and sustainable manner.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and draft proper mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in ACAS, SCC, SCAP and eMASS is required
• RMF Accreditation package development, JSIG experience desired
• TCP/IP networking security principles familiarity
• Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program desired but not required
• Experience as a Fully Qualified Navy Validator is desired
• DoD Instruction 8500.2, NIST 800-53 and related RMF standards
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance

Education:

• Associates Degree in a relevant field or 10 years’ related experience
• Security+ certification is required
• CAP or CISSP certifications are highly desired
