Description

AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/ Federal Contractor seeking a part-time Configuration and Test Analyst to support USCG Aviation Mission System Integration Lab. This position will assist the Chief Integration Engineer in identifying necessary hardware and software in support of overall Task Order objectives and work with acquisition specialists to acquire needed materials. Additional duties supporting the overall project will be assigned, as needed. Anticipated workload will be approximately 50% for 18 months.

A typical day as a Configuration Test Analyst may include:

  • The CTA analyzes hardware and software configurations, drafts configuration management plans and creates test plans. The CTA shall support the Chief Integration Engineer and other team members to accomplish configuration forecasts and execute tests. The CTA shall be qualified to execute the below functions.
  •  Analyze software & hardware configurations for aircraft & surface mission systems.
  •  Develop configuration plans, document changes and maintain mission system configuration.
  •  Develop and maintain product obsolesce profiles.
  •  Build vendor relationships and conduct vendor interviews for next generation solutions.
  •  Analyze replacement cost of individual hardware and software components and licenses.
  •  Develop test procedures and test plans.
  •  Complete tests in lab, in aircraft or at vendor facility.
  •  Travel to meet Government requirements.
  •  Maintain a Secret clearance.
  •  Build visions, business relationships & goals for future endeavors.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
