AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented Mission Systems Test Lead to provide support to a major branch of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD.

A typical day as the Mission Systems Test Lead:

• Testing and troubleshooting of ISR systems to provide mission management evaluation
• Diagnose issues with networks, broadcasts, and mission management software
• Provide guidance to PMA-290E leadership
• Participate in mission systems upgrade meetings
• Write test plans, perform said tests, and distribute test results
• Participate in fleet conference calls in order to gather data and recreate issues allowing for correction of deficiencies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Ability to perform flights duties as a Project Specialist
• Must maintain flight qualifications
• Ability to obtain a Yearly Class 3 flight physical is required
• US Citizenship and current, active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance is required
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in a relevant field is required
• Class 2 swimmer certification is required
• Physiology certification is required

Work Environment:

The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
