AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented Engineer to support the Integrated Combat Environment Division at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

A typical day as the Engineer

• Provide engineering level support for aircraft installed system testing of Radar, EO/IR or other sensors and CNI systems.
• Assist in test preparation, execution and posttest reporting and break down
• Use advanced internal lab equipment, software applications and simulation or stimulation systems

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 6 years’ applicable experience
• Experience using MATLAB and C++
• Experience with windows/Linux
• US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required

Education

• BS degree in  Engineering or any Science related degree

Work Environment

The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.

This position is defined as AMEWAS labor category, Engineer Level II.
