AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a System Administrator to support Corporate Headquarters

Location:  Patuxent River, Maryland:  Best Places for Tech Jobs (#4); to learn more about our surrounding location, please visit http://www.visitstmarysmd.com.

A typical day as the Systems Administrator:

  • Provide customer/end user support in a professional and courteous manner on a regular basis
  • Provide end user support and training for computers, applications, and mobile devices utilizing our in-house ticketing system
  • Installing and configuring new infrastructure, servers, and software
  • Evaluate and give recommendations on vendors and products, track industry trends and new technologies
  • Develop, architect, and support IT projects, independently, and as part of a larger team

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Relevant work experience
  • CompTIA Security + certification
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
  • MCSA, CCNA, and CompTIA Network+ certifications desired
  • DoD Top Secret security clearance

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
