Description

AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented individual to perform as an Engineer in support of the Aircraft Ranges. The Engineer will provide flight test data analysis for the RCS and will support RCS flight operations.

A typical day as the RCS Engineer:

  • Assist in the preparation, execution, and reporting for RCS tests
  • Utilize skills to support independent studies that contribute to the development of the RCS measurement facility

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Must be proficient in MATLAB
  • An understanding of RCS scattering is required
  • Experience in design, and/or modeling and simulation
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • DoD SECRET security clearance

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science is required

Work Environment:

The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.
