The position:

AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Analyst to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation.

This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Configuration Analyst.

About the location:  Washington, DC https://washington.org/
This position is temporarily remote but will resume on-site in Washington, DC after COVID-19 transmission precautions have been removed.

A typical day as a Data Analyst may include:

  • Lead data entry team efforts composed of support from team members, reservists, OPNAV DCNO support and assist with data entry workload requirements.
  • Support related data analyst functions, which include: appropriate meta-data tagging based on current SCHEMA definitions, identify and apply opportunities for bulk data entry (import of CSV files, ect).
  • Work with other team members (leads technical support, administrations) to best contextualize and represent data relationships and visualizations for senior leadership.
  • Make recommendations to future revisions of the meta-data schema as well as requirements that guide future platform capability insertions

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with integration of data from multiple sources
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA desired
  • DoD Secret security clearance

Physical environment and working conditions:

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.
