The position:
AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking highly motivated and talented Technical Writer to support the Aircraft Prototype System Division.
This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Technical Writer.

A typical day as a Technical Writer may include:
- Revises or writes material that is mostly standardized for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment.
- The incumbent receives assignment and technical information from a supervisor or senior writer, may be provided notes or manuals containing operating procedures and details, and may observe production, developmental or experimental activities to expand or verify the provided operating procedures and details.
Must-haves:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 Years of Relevant Work Experience
- AS substitutes for 2 years and BS substitutes for subs for 4 years
- DoD Secret security clearance

Physical environment and working conditions:
The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
