AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking experienced Full Stack Software Developers to provide support to the development of rich, modern web applications as well as companion mobile applications in support of NAVAIR 4.0P. This position will support the Air Worthiness and Cyberafe Directorate’s Electronic Flight Clearances (eFC) in all aspects of development including the design, prototyping, implementation, and testing. The Software Engineers will be a part of a small, Agile development team who will provide support from Patuxent River, MD.
A typical day as the Software Developers:
- Implement we-based applications based on product owner requirements
- Create a dynamic browser interface using the Angular framework
- Develop RESTful server applications using UWSO2 technologies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant, full stack software engineering experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ programming experience with Java and C#, with an emphasis on object-oriented software development is required
- Demonstrated understanding of HTTP, SOAP, and RESTful web services
- Full stack web application experience (database, SOA messaging, CSS/JavaScript)
- Ability to rapidly implement web-based applications from wireframe mockups and design prototypes
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required.
- RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, H2, MySQL, and SQL Server
- Alfresco One or other similar CMS solutions
- WSO2 or other SOA solutions
- Building business workflows using BPM tools such as Activiti
- UI front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- DITA XML, XSLT, DTDs, schemas, and related technologies
- Cyber security practices for web application development
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required from an ABET accredited institution OR 5 years of relevant experience
