AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/ Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented Antenna Handler to support the E3 Program. This position is on a SCA contract which is subject to the terms and conditions of the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA).

A typical day as an Antenna Handler may include:

An antenna handler performs task that require mainly physical abilities and effort during the performance of high power electromagnetic test and evaluation and general facility and system maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have an interest and aptitude in one or more of the following:  General welding, aviation technology, carpentry, engineering, HVAC or electrical wiring.
•  The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance

Education and Certifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:

The physical environment requires the employee to stand and walk throughout his/her workday, often bending over and picking up items less than 50 lbs. and/or operating machinery to assist in the movement of heavy objects such as fork lifts and dollies. 

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
