AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented Systems Analyst to provide support to the F-35 program within the Simulation Division of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD.

A typical day as the Systems Analyst:

• Assist in the analysis of F-35 data, simulation data; provide statistical comparison of the two data sets
• Manipulate data in a tactical or operational context to gain insight into installed sensor and system performance
• Write tools to assist in mining data from flight tests and simulation runs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience OR acceptable educational substitution
• US Citizenship and current DoD SECRET security clearance

Education:

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in a Mathematics or Physics discipline

Work Environment:

The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.

This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category, Systems Analyst IV.
