AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/ Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented Administrative Assistant I to support the ICE Program.

A typical day as an Administrative Assistant I:
- Schedules conference room meetings
- Ensure all visitors sign in
- Creates proxy badges for new employees
- Verifying clearance information utilizing JPAS or BASICS II if applicable
- Inputs visitor requests through BASICS II
- Collects visitors cell phones, two way pagers, radios and request visitor to register their laptops
- Sorts and distributes mail
- Ensure all new personnel read the Standard Operating Procedures
- Sign the applicable acknowledgment form and enter the form into the Security Tracking System.
- Provides information to callers
- Greet and direct, and/or escort visitors
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment
The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
