The position:

AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Program Analyst F-35 to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation.

This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Management Analyst.

This position is classified as remote, however, traveling to and attending occasional meetings on-site may be required.

A typical day as a Program Analyst F-35 may include:

  • Assist in the development of the performance and risks for our TD&C activities in terms of cost, schedule and performance. Support in evaluating program documentation to ensure that the needs of the program are consistent with sound business practices and the degree of risk involved. Synthesizes critical management issues, documentation, and relevant information to support program reviews.
  • Assist with the integration of resource requirements with multi-year acquisition and support plans to develop POM and budget inputs. Evaluates the impact of new resource levels, such as budget cuts or increases. Support estimates of resource requirements to take into account new or revised objectives, technical capabilities, new acquisition strategies, and other such factors. Analyzes all changes that have an impact on the acquisition and develops responsive and effective changes in plans and strategies.
  • Assist with the development of presentations on program status, accomplishments, problems, and requirements for support, and promotion of TD&C objectives to TSS PMO leadership.
  • Gather, integrate, and arrange, critical program information related to the overall contract health and progress of program execution. Synthesize information from Business and Financial Management, Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Schedule, Contractor Manpower and Resource Analysis, and Procurement Planning to provide a comprehensive view of contractor performance.
  • Ensure TSS PMO Leadership are advised of problems and concerns that will affect the delivery of capability to the Warfighter.
  • Provide support to other IPTs within the TSS PMO and contractor organizations as needed.
  • Collect and prepare technical information for acquisition support.

Must-haves:

  • BS in systems management or a related technical field
  • Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) experience
  • DAWIA Certification Level II in Program Management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance

Physical environment and working conditions:

The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.
