The Position:

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Executive Assistant (Integrated Combat Environment)-Junior to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as an Executive Assistant (Integrated Combat Environment)-Junior may include:

  • Provides exceptional administrative support to the ICE Division Head
  • Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks
  • Possesses the ability to work independently with little or no supervision and is well organized
  • Possesses a high level of professionalism and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision/attention to detail

 

Must-haves:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience acting as the primary point of contact, managing schedules/appointments and travel arrangements
  • The ability to coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences and events; including arranging necessary materials and logistics
  • Experience preparing and distributing correspondence, memos, letters, reports and other documents
  • Experience conducting research, compiling data and preparing presentations/reports as requested
  • Proficiency in fielding incoming calls/emails and responding/redirecting inquiries as appropriate
  • The ability to assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Confidentiality and discretion in all interactions, communications and handling sensitive information
  • The ability to anticipate the ICE division needs and proactively address them to ensure smooth operations
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

 

Desired Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role, supporting C-level executives or senior management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements

Candidates must have a customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion, and have the ability to work effectively with both management, and as part of a team, to meet project targets.

 

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:

The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

 

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.  

 

The physical environment requires the employee to stand, walk and/or move throughout the workday, often bending over and lifting items up to approximately 50 lbs.
