AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking an Engineer to provide support to the antenna and radome design and development for Naval airborne antenna systems. The Systems Engineer will provide expertise and will apply advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for assigned technical areas of responsibility.  Support will be provided to a major Test & Evaluation (T&E) branch at NAS Patuxent River.

A typical day as the Antenna Systems Engineer:

• Provide engineering support to the antenna and radome design and development
• Use of knowledge and expertise in order to solve highly complex problems where technical precedents are lacking
• Serve as cognizant engineer in the field of antennas for airborne platforms
• Provide expertise in the field of GPS and GPS Anti-Jam antenna design, analysis, and testing
• Serve as technical liaison to other government agencies

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• US Citizenship as well as a current DoD SECRET security clearance

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, however a Master’s degree is preferred
