AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/ Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented System Engineer to support the Simulation Division.

A typical day as a System Engineer may include:

• Work within an Autonomy Integration and Teaming Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• Lead requirements, design and development for Detect and Avoid ground and air systems.
• Work with system developers, Technical Area Experts across all phases of the project.
• Assist in the development of Guardian Ground Based Detect and Avoid, Mission Termination System, Robustness Inside Out Testing software, and Range Adversarial Planning and Testing software test tools.
• Apply a high level of rigor to achieve a certificate of approval letter from Systems Engineering Authority.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• DoD Secret security clearance

Education and Certifications:

• BS in Engineering or any Science related degree

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.
