AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Defense Contracting Firm, is seeking highly motivated and talented Facilities Support Technician to support the E3/Facilities Hanger 144.

A typical day as a Facilities Support Technician:
- Provide nightly operational and maintenance, technical engineering and program support for Hanger 144, AATF, and ASIL anechoic chambers for aircraft testing
- Maintaining ground support equipment (GSE); delivering FSE to the Fleet Readiness Center for preventative and/or unscheduled maintenance
- Provide aircraft cooling air and heat
- Provide fire watch duties when required.
- Connect and operate hydraulic carts for aircraft testing operations
- Track and perform required preventative maintenance of support assets
- Operate government equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, tow tractors, and Ground Support Equipment to meet testing requirements and in support of AATF and ASIL maintenance
- Assist in purging, hanging aircraft in the anechoic chambers if the test requires
- Install/remove palletized anechoic flooring and equipment in the AATF and ASIL as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- DoD SECRET security clearance
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pass Maryland DOT Physical
- Category 2 Crane Operator Desired
- Forklift Operator Desired
This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Technician and Level V.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
