AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented individual to provide Military Aviation Subject Matter Expertise to the Next Generation Threat System (NGT) program.

A typical day for the Subject Matter Expert:

• Conduct general subject matter research, analysis, correlation, and assessment.
• Assist in the NGTS introduction to fleet activities
• Perform as the liaison between military personnel and NGTS Programmers
• Participate in software test activities
• Act as technical liaison to outside organizations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years’ of relevant experience
• Must have a military tactical background, specifically in one or more of the following areas/platforms:

o EP3, F16, F22, C130, F18 C/D, H-60, EA-6B, EA-18G, P3, P8, Electronic Warfare (EW) and/or Acoustics

• DoD SECRET security clearance
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Active or recent flight qualifications are highly desired

Work Environment:

The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.

This position is classified as an AMEWAS labor category, Subject Matter Expert II-IV.
