AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/Federal Contractor, is seeking highly motivated and talented Facilities Technician’s to provide support to the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E³) division. This position provides support for the second shift; 1430 – 2430.

A Typical Day as the Facilities Technician:

• Provide nightly operational and maintenance, technical engineering and program support for supported facilities, to include Hangar 144, AATF and ASIL anechoic chambers
• Maintaining ground support equipment (GSE); delivering said GSE to the Fleet Readiness Center for preventative and/or unscheduled maintenance
• Provide aircraft cooling air and heat
• Provide fire watch duties when required
•  Connect and operate hydraulic carts for aircraft testing operations
• Track and perform required preventative maintenance of support assets
• Operate Government furnished equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, tow tractors, and GSE in order to meet testing requirements
• Installing and/or removing palletized anechoic flooring and equipment in the AATF and ASIL as required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
