The Position:
AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Management Analyst (JSE Sustainment and Logistics Support)-Journeyman to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The salary range of this position is $98,000.00 - $160,000.00, and is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for hybrid work.

Position Background:
The Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) is a scalable, expandable, high fidelity government-owned, non-proprietary modeling and simulation environment used to conduct testing on fifth-plus generation aircraft and systems accreditable for test as a supplement to open-air testing and Pilot training. Be part of the team expanding JSE from IOT&E into a functioning test and training environment. In this role you will provide analytical, technical and administrative support to the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE)
A typical day as a Management Analyst (JSE Sustainment and Logistics Support)-Journeyman may include:
- Acts as logistics manager providing product management and leadership support to the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead within the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO)
- Assists with all aspects of logistics planning, execution and management with an emphasis on site activations, diminishing manufacturing sources resolution management, hardware inventory and configuration and long-term sustainment
- Provides logistics management support for all F-35 JSE product support planning, documentation and execution
- Supports the development and execution of the JSE logistics approach
- Coordinates with TSS PMO Product Support Manager and other logisticians within the PMO, JPO and the JSE Enterprise to ensure a sound approach that meets product support requirements and best practices
- Coordinates across the PMO, JPO and JSE Enterprise to define and develop artifacts required for program reviews
- Provides reach-back to Subject Matter Experts from the logistics competency based on JSE team needs and gaps in knowledge or expertise
- Supports the JSE IPT program management team with development roadmaps, program schedules and the alignment of technical activities within and outside the JSE Enterprise that enables product support and sustainment
- Assists the JSE Lead in gaining insight into prime contractor's plans, schedules and methods of execution for logistics activities
- Provides timely analysis of prime contractor plans, methods and status of execution
- Monitors all aspects of Lockheed Martin F-35 In-a-Box (FIAB) sustainment and integration to the JSE
- Reviews Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and provides technical input to assist the JSE Lead in negotiating cost of contractor support
- Serves as the logistics point of contact for F-35 IAB product support management
- Organizes and actively participates in technical working groups, panels and teams, etc. in support of FIAB, JSE system and enterprise configuration/planning
- Assists the JSE lead and Finance Manager with spend plan development and execution management for all product support and sustainment activities funded by the IPT
Must-haves:
- BS Degree
- 7 years of relevant work experience
- Mid-level experience (7 years) with logistics and/or acquisition management in the domain of military tactical aviation acquisition and sustainment
- The ability to independently plan and complete assignments
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- The ability to take direction, create a more defined approach and lead others to accomplish the goals, projects and missions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage quick response time while maintaining attention to detail
- The ability to accommodate a hybrid schedule (in the office at least 1 day per week and for any classified meetings)
- The ability to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance-Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
- MS Degree in technical field or logistics management
- DAWIA certification requirements for Level II Logistics
- 15 years of work experience in field related to military tactical aviation product support
- Experience with Major Acquisition Programs
- 4 years of experience in logistics and program management of software-intensive or distributed network programs

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:
The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site. Overnight travel will be required.
