AMEWAS, Inc., a growing Department of Defense (DoD)/ Federal Contractor, is seeking a highly motivated SharePoint Developer to provide support for our customer at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

A typical day as the SharePoint Developer
• Install the applicable SharePoint applications and software onto the appropriate computer operating systems.
• Design and develop SharePoint applications.
• Configure and manage SharePoint servers.
• Project long-range requirements for SharePoint.
• Create SharePoint sites, security groups and add users as applicable.

Experience and Qualifications
• Three years of relevant work experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
• Experienced in designing and development for business solutions, supporting various application server environments
• Working knowledge and experience coding custom components and sites in SharePoint 2013, a broad understanding of WebParts, workflows, ASP/.Net integration is required

Education
• BS Degree or 5 years highly relevant experience
• Security+ certification is required

Work Environment

The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.
